Live drawing seen in Berlin made in London

Slideshow of drawings made from my London home talking to visitors in A DRAWBACK exhibition with Perennial Art in Kreuzberg Berlin. Connection through Skype allowed the visitors to describe a scene - from memory or from a dream - which I drew simultaneously. The images appeared line by line projected on the Berlin gallery wall as they spoke, so that it was as if by speaking they created the drawing.

Multyfarnham Monastery Residence

I have just spent two weeks (from 18 to 31 August) as one of five artists in residence at Multyfarnham Franciscan Monastery in Ireland. We were not required to come up with a finished piece so the images here reflect a process of work more than anything else. Read more about the monastery on the Good Hatchery website- Ruth was one of the resident artists a couple of months ago and she explains it all very clearly.

The imagery of the dreams in this period are interesting- a lot more religious and sexual stuff than normal. Just what you'd expect I guess.
